Investing in the world renowned ‘White Gold’ Mahgoub Sons Ginning Co. Ltd is an integral part of MSG Agriculture; producing, ginning, delinting and pressing cotton and cottonseed for domestic and international markets.
Initiating operations in 2016 in Gedaref, it has since added 3 more state of the art factories in North Kordofan, Gezira and Kassala States, while adding additional lines in Gedaref and Gezira for a total of 6 gins, in turn placing itself as the leader in Sudan with a growing production capacity of 80,000 MT per season. Our state-of-the-art facilities operate at the highest international standards accounting for over 65% of the country’s ginning capacity.
The company provides various cotton products and services for domestic and international partners. Through the support of sister companies MASOT & Africot, cotton bales are packed to the highest standards and exported to international clients in China, India, Bangladesh and Turkey among others, on average the company exports around 20,000 MT of raw cotton annually.

Quality & Labs
MSG Ginning became the first company and only ginning facilities in Sudan to certify their labs as per international cotton grading, testing and export standards. Providing higher, more reliable, quality services to their customers. The company operates 2 out of the 4 available labs nationally and the only certified ones.
Leading National Capacity
MSG Ginning, through its 6 factories, has established itself as the leading ginning company with over 65% of the national ginning capacity. Positioning itself as the go to cotton processor, and gaining customer trust across the country.
Cottonseed Value Addition
The company has invested in multiple verticals in the cottonseed value chain including seed delinting facilities and cottonseed oil pressing and cake production adding 50% value to cottonseed and ultimately increasing revenues.
Digital Traceability System
MSG Ginning became the first company to implement a digital traceability system for all its cotton bale exports. The system designed and developed in-house, provides traceability on each bale produced through scanning the QR code found on the outer packaging that will summarise production data including source of cotton, production dates and batch numbers. This allows for better quality management, after-sales service and supply chain efficiency.
