Consisting of three state-of-the-art cleaning and hulling plants in Port Sudan, Sinja and the largest in Gedaref State. MSG Cleaning & Hulling Plants offer a range of cleaning specs and purity levels to our national and international clients.

Working mainly on sesame and sorghum we offer full cleaning and hulling services to sister companies, reputable institutions like the WFP as well as the local market. The Gedaref plant is also one of only 3 certified plants by the National Seed Board to prepare agricultural seeds. Our clients expand beyond Sudan to also include; China, Pakistan, The Gulf, Lebanon and Turkey. As a result, it has enabled us to meet all international standards and orders requested by our customers both locally and internationally.

  • Al-Mahgoub for Cleaning and Hulling: located in Port Sudan, operating at a capacity of 250MT/day with 12,748 m2 of storage facilities.
  • 5 Stars for Cleaning and Hulling: located in Gedaref State, operating at a capacity of 1200MT/day with 16,000 m2 of storage facilities.
  • Sinja Plants – Located in Sennar State, operating at a capacity of 200 MT/day with supplementary storage facilities.

Placing Sudan on the Soybean Map

As we strive to fulfil Sudan’s agricultural potential and fast-track Sudan’s agri-economic growth, through collaboration with our sister company APCO, in 2020/21 season, MSG spearheaded the commercialisation of Soybean crop in Sudan and became the first company to export Soybean from Sudan that same season. The organic and Non-GMO soybean has great potential and subsequent years saw increased investment in the crop, with MSG leading exports.

Founded and Co-Hosted International Oilseeds Conference (Sudan Chapter)

MSG Trading established the oilseeds conference in Sudan with international participation from relevant stakeholders and partners globally, and co-hosted the event alongside the Chamber of Commerce. The conference launched in 2014, would attract up to 800 local and international guests encouraging trade, networks and market insights.

ICA Membership

In 2019, the company became the first and only Sudanese member of the International Cotton Association.
