Delta Sweets

In 2016, capitalising on MSG’s long experience in agriculture and trade, MSG Food invested in a state-of-the-art sesame processing facility in Gedaref, East Sudan producing Hulled & Roasted Sesame, Tahini Paste and Tahnia (halva).

The facility is ISO 22000 certified and geared towards both local and export markets. The factory produces 120 MT/day of Tahnia, 60 MT/day of Tahini Paste and 60 MT/day of Hulled Sesame and 1MT/hour of Sesame Bar.

In addition to local distribution, these products are distributed to over 10 countries across the GCC, Asia, Europe and Africa.

Delta Sweets Facility became the first food facility outside the capital to become ISO 22000 certified, marking a significant step towards its quality commitments to consumers.

Post-Conflict Recovery

MSG Food launches manufacturing in Egypt and GCC for Tahnia and Tahini respectively in effort to de-risk supply chain disruptions to its export markets.

Delta Confectionary

In line with group strategy, MSG Food’s R&D team, developed confectionary products for local market consumption using local crops as a base focusing on the concept of ‘value addition’, the project will launch 4 new product lines in Q4 2025.
