Commodore Transport is a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions in Sudan and is the services arm of Mahgoub Sons Group. It provides an end-to-end service that contributes to achieving a seamless supply chain for its customers.

Founded in 1992 with a primary aim of mobilizing the various industry inputs and products of MSG and its subsidiaries. Commodore Transport has since grown into a fully-fledged logistics and services company offering its services to a number of clients.

Our services and solutions are tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients without differentiation between small or big companies. Backed by our extensive experience in Sudan and our first-hand knowledge of the logistics challenges that could arise due to environmental, economic and political factors, we have gained the trust of our clients by being ahead of the game through contingent strategic planning.

We have invested in a thoroughbred wide-ranging fleet that covers transportation needs for a variety of items. It comprises of trucks and trailers of different types including multi-purpose, cargo, silo, tanker and low-bed trailers allowing for the transportation of bulk, packed and liquid goods in addition to containers and equipment.

Currently we operate in excess of 150 trucks and 260 trailers with projections to double in size by next year to meet the increased demand. Regular maintenance programs ensure our fleet is kept in top condition, minimizing breakdowns and reducing repair downtime. In addition, and to ensure uninterrupted service, we have established three state of the art workshops staffed by our own engineers and workshop fitters across different locations in the country.

Currently our team is 207 employees strong out of which 141 are high skilled drivers and 66 are support staff.

MSG Services and Logistics is planning in the near future to establish its own Shipping Agency to better plan and coordinate import and export operations of conventional and containerized cargo from and to all destinations around the world to complete the supply chain. Long term plans include the establishment of Commodore Shipping Lines that work in cargo and passenger sea transport, as well as Commodore Railways and Air Commodore that provide transport services for bulk, containers and passengers through rail and air.
